Last week I had the pleasure to be the master of ceremonies at the Global Symposium of the OECD. In the presence of H.M. Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría, debates at this high-level symposium in Amsterdam on 20-21 April 2016 focussed on financial education amongst kids, youth, adolescents and adults. The theme was carefully chosen: “Financial Resilience, throughout life”.
One of these initiatives is the series of TEDx events focusing on this future for schools and students. Last week my team (headed by Nephtalie Demei and Jessika Lynch) organized TEDxAmsterdamEducation at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The events was opened by Lodewijk Asscher, Alderman of the Amsterdam Municipal Council.
Last week I was in Berlin attending and speaking at the NEXT-Conference 2010. Other speakers included Stowe Boyd, Andrew Keen and Cindy Callop. I was in the track “openess” together with Steve Rubel.
