Op dit weblog heb ik het vaak over de veranderde consument en de manier waarop media hierop zouden moeten inspelen. Tijdens de NationaleMarketingdag sprak Joris van Heukelom echter over de regiseurs van deze verandering: de marketeer.

Evolutie van Henk naar Pim

Op dit moment zijn er twee typen marketeers werkzaam: Henk en Pim. Henk vertegenwoordigt de oude garde voor wie televisie en onderbrekingsreclame heilig zijn. Pim is de nieuwe generatie die het zoekt in “return on attention” en social media.

Nu is polariseren natuurlijk altijd leuk voor de discussie, maar uiteindelijk hebben we moderne marketeers nodig die een beetje van beide in zich hebben.
