Eerder schreef ik al over TED2008. Het is ontzettend moeilijk om aan kaartjes te komen voor dit geweldige jaarlijkse event.

Toch is er gisteren een “main hall”-pass op Ebay gezet waarop potentiële bezoekers kunnen bieden. Op het moment van schrijven staat de prijs op $ 32.600 !

Voor de goed orde: dit is een eenmalige actie van de organisatie. Zij hebben dan ook hun nadrukkelijk toestemming verleend, omdat de opbrengsten gaan naar een goed doel: the Open Architecture Network.

TED2008 has been sold out for more than a year, so we suspect this is going to make someone very happy indeed. It won’t be cheap, but the successful bidder will be making a philanthropic contribution to an organization that’s empowering architects and designers to change the world.
